We develop programmes alongside iwi, Māori business networks, local government, education institutions, and industry partners – each of whom brings a unique role in shaping and sustaining our kaupapa.

Local Māori business networks

There are currently four Māori business networking groups operating in Te Ūpoko o Te Ika that Te Matarau a Māui is working closely with. In 2025 we signed a historical accord defining our working relationship with local Māori business networks.

Te Rōpū Pakihi Inc

Kāpiti and Horowhenua Māori Business Network
Te Rōpū Pakihi supports the growth and development of Māori enterprise in the Kāpiti and Horowhenua areas.  The network was establish in April 2001 and has ten kaupapa tuku iho/inherited values to drive activity. The network meets regularly online and in person to support each other in business and community.  Membership is free.
